Today, OCS has a blend of employees who came up through the trades complemented by others with formal higher education degrees in construction management. It is a perfect blend that works. Our diverse backgrounds and strengths contribute to our team’s ability to go above and beyond to lead and deliver projects. Our experience encompasses tenant improvements, ground-up construction, healthcare facilities, data centers, laboratories, call centers, and other specialty disciplines. With over $850 million in completed projects since its establishment, Olsen Construction Services has a proven track record that speaks for itself.
Our History
Olsen Construction Services was established in 2000 with the passion and energy of Robert Olsen. Robert honed his construction management skills at the Travelers Insurance Company, where he earned the title of Facility Director. After 22 years with Corporate America, Robert set out on his own to develop a niche business of site hardening for mission-critical facilities throughout the United States. Within a few years, OCS became known and respected by its clients as a quality, dependable, and knowledgeable contractor. Clients soon began to request that OCS perform additional construction services such as office alterations, building restorations, and new construction. Today, OCS serves various clients from Fortune 100 companies to not-for-profit healthcare centers in roles as either construction managers or general contractors.
